As the fortress lantern is extinguished forever, and the last of the Roman army have set sail, Britain is left to civil war and an ever increasing threat of Saxon invasion. Aquila travels through the country to be reunited with his family but finds that everything he loved has been destroyed. Now there is only one thing left in his—revenge!
