This book provides a complete idea about the recruitment examination. It contains gist of core mechanical courses and selected problems. Basic discussion, short questions and problems have been collected from various books (Included in reference section), my own class lectures and from Wikipedia. Also there is 50 question and solution of various recruitment examinations that will definitely help the students to take proper preparation for any competitive examination related to mechanical engineering. Each chapter has been started with the basic discussion that will help the students to face an oral examination. Every effort has been made to avoid errors. It cannot be hoped however, that all mistakes have been discovered and the author will appreciate comments and suggestions from readers for the improvement of this book.
