বঙ্গবন্ধু বললেন

আমাদের এই বাংলাদেশ। পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনীর বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করে বাংলার মানুষ অর্জন করেছে এ দেশ।
এই জাতিকে একটি স্বাধীন দেশের স্বপ্ন দেখিয়েছিলেন বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান। দীর্ঘ ২৩ বছর ধরে অনবরত শত নির্যাতন, জেল-জুলম, কারাবরণ সহ্য করেছেন এদেশের স্বাধীনতার জন্য তিনি সর্বকালের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ বাঙালি। তিনি জাতির পিতা।
তাঁর আদর্শে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে ১৯৭১ সালে অস্ত্র হাতে যুদ্ধ করেছে বার বাঙালি। তাঁকে যথাযথভাবে জানা এ দেশের প্রতিটি মানুষের নিজেকেই জানা। এবং নিজেকেই চেনা। এভাবেই সকলে জানবে বাংলাদেশের প্রকৃত ইতিহাস ও ঐতিহ্য।
