He is a poet, cretic, translator, freelance journalist and the executive editor of an international literary journal, IDEAS. He has two books of poetry collection to his credit. He has edited an academic book; he is a contributing editor of some literary magazines. He currently lives in Dhaka, Bangladesh where he teaches English literature in a private university.
